I'm often asked which is a better way to learn Reiki - privately, semi-privately or in a group. Everyone is different and learn in different ways.
Peter and I were sitting on the deck one morning a few weeks ago enjoying our first cup of tea. We were commenting on a squirrel on the fence as our poodles chased after it. We watched him run along the fences until he reached the next street over (one house away). Shortly after we heard a "thud" followed by a yelp. We looked at each other and I said, "that's a dog" and we were out the door.
If you own a company or manage a large department, keeping your staff stress-free benefits you financially.
Imagine if Reiki were advertised like medication - would it need the fine print?
Isn't it amazing how much advertising is done by pharmaceutical companies - television, print, radio. Sometimes the ads in magazines are 2 pages - one page with the ad for the drug and a page on the reverse for the disclaimer and list of side effects. All the possible negative side effects that could potentially be caused by the medication are listed and of course it is printed in tiny letters - usually called the "fine print". Those companies have deep pockets! For both advertising and lawyers to write the disclaimers.
An animal shelter is a lonely and stressful place for any cat, dog, or other living creature to find itself whether he or she is there through being lost and not claimed by its people or being turned into the shelter by its people.
