How many times have you asked someone how things are going and gotten the answer, “same crap, different day” or “same old, same old”? Maybe you have responded that way yourself when asked how it was going. Does it really have to be that way?
Your time is valuable
Do you often say:
- “there’s not enough time in the day”, or
- “I need to clone myself”, or
- “it’s time for bed and I don’t know what I got done today”?

Have you recently been diagnosed with cancer?
If you have recently been diagnosed with Cancer, consider learning Reiki. Reiki is a stress relief and relaxation technique which promotes healing.
How can Reiki help?
- You can give yourself Reiki at any tine if the day or night.
- If you are receiving chemotherapy, when you go for your appointments you can Reiki the chemo drugs before you receive them, Reiki the room and give yourself Reiki while you are receiving the treatment.
Reiki is something anyone can learn and I highly encourage it. I offer a workshop in self-Reiki. It is a two to three hour workshop depending on how many people attend. I am also open to offering this class one-on-one to those newly diagnosed with cancer.
Many cancer support organizations offer Reiki to their clients, but I believe there is a limit on the number of sessions. Learning Reiki will allow you to give yourself a self-treatment every day.
The cost of the workshop is $60 plus HST. You will receive the Reiki attunement and learn how to do a self-treatment. Please note that this is not a full certification workshop. A note from your doctor confirming your diagnosis is required to participate in this workshop.
If you would like to learn more, please call me at 519-719-2346.
It happens all the time
Everybody has that one friend, co-worker, neighbour, acquaintance who is that guy or girl, the one who is never happy, always complaining and telling you all about it.
You: "Hi <insert name here>, how's it going?"
Them: "Oh, you know . . . my job . . . my wife . . . my husband . . . my cat . . . <insert complaint here>"
It's the same thing all the time. You run into them walking the dog, on the bus, at work. It's not polite to walk by and ignore them but you know you're going to get a huge download of their problems and negative energy as soon as they start to speak.
